We’re working with a fast-paced, high-performing organisation in the healthcare space that’s seeking an experienced Injury Management & Workers Compensation Specialist for an immediate start. This is a short-term contract with potential for extension or permanency, and offers the opportunity to contribute meaningfully during a period of operational transition.

About the Role:

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic, internal business environment and has the ability to manage injury claims from end to end with a strong sense of ownership. You’ll be based in Macquarie Park (with free onsite parking) and work in a hybrid capacity, with the expectation of being onsite during the week to stay closely connected to the team and operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and manage workplace injury claims efficiently and effectively
  • Identify when incidents require further investigation or need to be escalated as reportable to WorkCover
  • Liaise with WorkCover, treating practitioners, rehab providers, insurers, and other external stakeholders
  • Provide clear and professional communication with a wide range of internal stakeholders
  • Deliver concise reports and updates for senior leaders when required
What We're Looking For:
  • Proven Workers Compensation and Injury Management experience
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills – able to confidently liaise with individuals at all levels
  • Someone who’s solutions-focused, reliable, and able to “come in and get the job done”
  • Prior experience in a healthcare, veterinary, or medical-related industry is highly desirable
  • Availability to start immediately and work from the Macquarie Park office
