About the Role
The role will see you take ownership of both the operational and systems side of safety, with a strong focus on building foundational frameworks and embedding a positive safety culture.
You will play a key role in uplifting and maturing the organisation’s WHS approach, including developing policies and procedures, supporting SOP creation, and ensuring practical application across diverse environments such as sports and aquatic facilities.
The role is highly visible and requires someone comfortable being on the ground, engaging with stakeholders, and providing practical, solutions-focused advice.
About You
You are a proactive and approachable WHS professional who enjoys working in a consultative capacity. You bring a balance of systems capability and practical delivery, with the confidence to operate in an environment where structure is still evolving.
You will also demonstrate:
Minimum three years experience in a WHS position
Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety or Diploma essential
Strong stakeholder engagement skills
Comfort delivering training and building capability across the business
Candidates from education, healthcare, aged care, NFP, or similarly complex environments will be well regarded.
