An exciting opportunity has arisen, due to a recent acquisition, within a powerhouse in the agri-food industry. The role is responsible for managing WHS for a division supporting 1400 people. Key to success will be fostering relationships with key internal and external stakeholders and driving the safety strategy.
  
The Role

  • Develop strong working relationships with operational leaders across all business units
  • Bring the safety strategy to life through engagement and developing a strong people centric safety culture
  • Drive continuous improvement in risk management, safety management systems and WHS policies and procedures
  • Manage and implement change across the business through consultation
  • Provide content and direction for effective WHS and wellbeing training
What we are looking for
  • Previous experience in a similar role within a fast-paced FMCG environment – food manufacturing experience would be highly advantageous
  • High emotional intelligence and a strong communicator who can positively influence and drive culture change
  • Strong knowledge of Australian WHS legislation and law
  • Experience and knowledge of state workers compensation scheme and self-insurance
  • Relevant WHS qualifications or related fields
