The Safe Step is partnering with a well established project design and delivery business working with leading property developers across Australia.
With strong WHS systems already in place, the focus of this role is to maintain, support and continuously improve existing frameworks while partnering closely with project teams.
This is a genuine part time opportunity, three days per week, offering flexibility and autonomy within a collaborative and supportive environment.
Please note, WHS experience is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and improve existing WHS systems, processes and documentation
- Support and coach project managers on WHS obligations, client requirements and best practice
- Coordinate inductions, licences, insurances and contractor compliance requirements
- Review SWMS, risk assessments and WHS documentation to ensure legislative compliance
- Monitor incidents, reporting requirements and safety trends across projects
- Support supplier and subcontractor engagement, compliance and documentation standards
- Provide practical WHS advice that supports safe and effective project delivery
- About you You are an experienced WHS practitioner who enjoys working closely with people and building practical safety outcomes within a project based environment.

You'll Bring
- Previous WHS experience is essential
- Experience within construction, fit out, property, building services or related industries
- Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety or higher qualifications
- Sound understanding of contractor management, risk assessment and WHS compliance requirements
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- A practical, approachable and solutions focused style
