ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a hands-on, site-based WHS role where you will play a key part in building a visible safety presence and strong relationships on the floor. You’ll focus on lifting safety capability and ensuring systems are not just in place, but truly effective in practice.
Key responsibilities include:
- Being a visible, approachable and trusted safety presence on the shop floor
- Coaching and empowering leaders to confidently manage WHS responsibilities
- Facilitating risk assessments and strengthening practical, fit-for-purpose systems of work
- Supporting safety training and uplifting capability across the workforce
- Driving engagement to embed safety as a practical and valued part of daily operations
You are a practical and confident WHS professional who enjoys being on the ground, building relationships and influencing positive safety outcomes. You bring a strong understanding of operational risks and safety practices in high-risk settings.
You will have:
- Certificate IV or Diploma in Work Health and Safety (or equivalent)
- Proven experience within a manufacturing or industrial environments
- Experience supporting incident investigations, risk assessments and safety training
- A hands-on, solutions-focused approach
