We're partnering with a leading FMCG organisation to recruit a Health & Safety Advisor to join their Australian Supply Chain team on an initial contract through to next year.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an emerging HSE professional to gain exposure across logistics, warehousing and corporate operations while working alongside an experienced and supportive safety team.
About the Role
This is a broad, generalist HSE position supporting distribution centres and logistics operations across Australia. You'll partner with leaders to provide practical safety advice, coach teams and contribute to a range of health and safety initiatives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing day-to-day HSE advice and support to operational leaders.
- Supporting warehousing, transport and logistics operations.
- Delivering and coordinating HSE training programs.
- Assisting with Chain of Responsibility (CoR) initiatives.
- Facilitating risk assessments and supporting incident investigations.
- Maintaining risk registers and HSE documentation.
- Supporting contractor management processes.
- Assisting with reporting, compliance and continuous improvement projects.
- Providing general HSE support across both operational and office environments.
We're looking for someone who is passionate about safety and enjoys building strong relationships across the business.
You'll ideally bring:
- Experience in a Health & Safety Advisor or Coordinator role.
- Exposure to logistics, warehousing, manufacturing, retail or FMCG environments.
- Knowledge of Australian WHS legislation.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- A proactive, hands-on approach with a willingness to learn.
- Tertiary qualifications in Workplace Health & Safety or a related discipline.
- Immediate start.
- Contract through to Janurary 2027.
- Flexible working arrangements.
- Predominantly based at Eastern Creek and/ or Sydney CBD office with one day working from home.
