About the Company
Join a global leader in large-scale renewable energy solutions, currently delivering one of the most ambitious battery energy storage projects in the world. This company is spearheading the transformation of former coal-fired infrastructure into high-performance grid-supporting technology, ensuring a more resilient and sustainable electricity network across New South Wales.

About the Role
Based at the iconic Waratah Super Battery site at Collongra Power Station, you’ll be part of a small, safety team supporting the project as it transitions from the delivery phase to the commissioning and transmission stages.

This contract role is ideal for a practical, systems-savvy safety advisor who can hit the ground running. You’ll play a key role in onboarding, inductions, and boots-on-the-ground risk identification, especially during a period of significant change.

Your responsibilities will evolve over the course of the contract and include:

  • Conducting site inductions and onboarding of vendors and contractors
  • Ensuring ticketing and compliance systems are accurate and up to date
  • Supporting site safety during commissioning and remedial works
  • Identifying emerging risks and contributing to the development of new systems
  • Working Monday–Friday, 6:30am–3:30pm
About You
You’re an adaptable, confident Safety Advisor with strong site presence and the ability to get up to speed quickly with digital systems and site processes. You enjoy fast-paced environments, and ideally have experience in high-voltage commissioning, power generation, or renewable infrastructure.
You’ll bring:
  • Demonstrated experience in site-based HSE roles (ideally in power, utilities or commissioning environments)
  • A practical understanding of HV/LV safety requirements
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills and clear communication style
  • The ability to work independently, while contributing to a small team
  • Availability to start on the 1st of July
Culture & Benefits
You’ll be joining a forward-thinking, high-growth business that has expanded rapidly in the past two years—from 20 people to over 170 globally. With a collaborative leadership team, a fast-moving delivery culture, and more projects in the pipeline across Australia, the US and Japan, this is a great opportunity to contribute meaningfully to the energy transition.
  • Parking available on site
  • Opportunity to support a globally significant renewable project
  • Potential for future opportunities as the team grows
How to Apply
Ready to be part of something big? Apply now with your CV or reach out directly for a confidential discussion. Interviews and onboarding will move quickly with a start date expected from 1st July.
