About Them
Your new business believes in their people and their client base, putting them first. This underpins their values and defines the way they do business.  As an organisation they strive to create a working environment that is a great place to work while being very focused on their customers, leading to them being an employer of choice.

As they embark on a journey of growth and development across Australia & New Zealand, they are seeking a seasoned WHS professional to join their team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to partner with them in enhancing awareness of WHS within the organisation.

The Role
Reporting directly to the Head of Shared Services, you will play a crucial role in driving safety initiatives nationwide. Your responsibilities will include continuously improving safety performance, updating the injury management program, and spearheading innovative wellbeing programs. Additionally, you will lead a dedicated team, ensuring alignment with safety objectives and fostering a collaborative work environment.

Success in this role hinges on your ability to proactively cultivate a safety-conscious culture, collaborate effectively with executives to address psychosocial risks, and empower WHS committee members and local officers. You will also lead injury management and return-to-work functions, manage safety-related reporting requirements, conduct comprehensive risk assessments, and develop and implement tailored safety training and education plans.

The Individual
They are seeking someone with a proven track record in Health Safety and Wellbeing, preferably within the finance, education, or white-collar sectors. Your ability to build influential relationships at all levels of the organisation, coupled with your strong communication and leadership skills, will be key to success in this role.

A degree or diploma in Safety, along with a Certificate IV in Workplace Training & Assessment, is required.

This role offers the opportunity for national travel, providing exposure to diverse environments and the chance to make a tangible impact on safety and wellbeing initiatives. If you are ready to join a supportive and forward-thinking team and drive positive change within their organisation, they invite you to apply and become a part of their journey towards excellence.
