About the Role
Joining the Health and Safety team, you will provide advice, support and partner with leaders and employees on health & safety standards, strategies, initiatives and activities, with the primary focus of this role being Occupational Health and Wellbeing (physical and psychological) while supporting other aspects of workplace safety as needed.
  
This position involves a blend of corporate responsibilities and operational support, ensuring the occupational health and wellbeing management systems are fit for purpose and being applied to support the effective operation of the business, manage risk and drive sustainable health & safety performance. 
  
About You
As an exceptional talent, you will bring:
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications
  • Experience gained from within exploration, heavy industry, high risk work environments, or similar  
  • Experience with the implementation and maintenance of health and safety policy and procedures with a specific knowledge of occupational hygiene, fitness for work, psychosocial hazards and injury management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively from workforce level, through to Executive level
  • The ability to partner collaboratively, engage and influence across multiple leadership stakeholder groups
  • Strong influencing and negotiating skills
