This National organisation is part of a large-scale industrial manufacturing and supply network with operations across multiple states, providing essential materials to support major infrastructure, construction, and resource projects. Committed to safety, operational excellence and sustainability, they are currently seeking an experiencec Senior Safety Advisor to support their Melbourne operational footprint.
  
About the Role
As the Senior Health & Safety Advisor, you will support the leadership team, and guide the general workforce in the understanding, implementation and continuous improvement of the WHS strategy with the aim of achieving the organisation vision of being a safe, healthy, productive and sustainable business.

About You
You are an experienced Health and Safety professional with a proven background thriving in complex, high risk, blue collar environments.
You are calm under pressure, commercially aware, and confident partnering with leaders to drive meaningful change. As an exceptional Senior Health & Safety Advisor you will bring:
  • Experience gained from within heavy industry, manufacturing or similar high risk work environments
  • Experience working in heavily regulated environment 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively from workforce level, through to Executive level
  • The ability to partner collaboratively, engage and influence across multiple leadership stakeholder groups
  • Strong influencing and negotiating skills
  • Proven experience in leading incident and investigation and route cause analysis
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications
