Our client is a highly regarded leader in Sydney’s industrial services sector. They are deeply invested in safety, not just from a compliance perspective, but as a genuine business priority. Due to growth, they are now seeking a Senior Health and Safety Advisor who is confident on site, respected by leaders, and motivated by practical, measurable improvement.

This is a visible, hands-on role where you will have the trust, autonomy, and backing to influence behaviour, coach leaders, and embed safety into everyday operations.

The Opportunity
This role gives you direct access to operations and leadership, with the mandate to shape how safety is done, not just how it is reported.
You will:

Partner closely with operational leaders to build accountability and ownership of safety
Coach frontline teams to identify hazards, manage risk, and make safer decisions every day
Lead thorough incident investigations that drive real learning and improvement
Support proactive safety initiatives that reduce risk and strengthen culture
Cut through unnecessary process and focus on what genuinely improves outcomes

You will spend your time in the field, not behind a desk, building credibility and driving change where it matters.

About You
You are an experienced safety professional who is confident working in operational environments and trusted by leaders and workers alike.
You will bring:

Proven experience in a Health and Safety Advisor or Business Partner role within industrial, manufacturing, construction, logistics, or other high risk environments
Strong incident investigation and risk management capability
The ability to engage, influence and challenge at all levels of the business
A practical, commercial mindset with a solutions focused approach
Formal health and safety qualifications (preferred)
