About the Role
As the Senior EHS Advisor, you will provide expert technical and practical EHS support, coaching, and leadership to operational teams across a diverse property portfolio. Reporting to the National EHS Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping a proactive, learning-based safety culture, while ensuring compliance and assurance frameworks are consistently applied.
You’ll be hands-on across both established and new properties, balancing strategic influence with operational delivery, and helping leaders embed safety, sustainability, and wellbeing initiatives across their teams.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing strategic EHS guidance and practical, solutions-focused advice.
- Conducting audits, inspections, and safety reviews to ensure best practice.
- Leading wellbeing initiatives, including managing psychosocial hazards.
- Supporting injury management, rehabilitation, and return-to-work processes.
- Driving continuous improvement through incident learning and change management.
- Partnering with leaders and site teams to foster a strong safety-first culture.
You’ll be an experienced safety professional who thrives in a collaborative, people-focused environment. With strong emotional intelligence and the ability to influence and coach, you’ll enjoy engaging with leaders and teams at all levels.
- Bachelor or diploma in OHS, Environmental Science, Psychology, or related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in an EHS role, ideally within a complex, multi-site environment.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and delivering wellbeing strategies, including psychosocial risk management.
- Knowledge of contemporary safety practices (HOP, ISO standards, event learning).
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Hybrid working model – mix of office, site visits, work-from-home flexibility and kilometer reimbursement.
