About the Organisation
This highly regarded organisation is a trusted Australian brand and global manufacturer, known for innovation and quality for over 80 years. They are looking for a motivated Safety & Wellbeing Advisor to join their head office in Rydalmere on an initial 3-month fixed-term contract, providing valuable support to both the operational and strategic aspects of safety.

About the Role
Reporting to the Operations Manager and working closely with the Safety & Wellbeing Manager, you’ll help implement the organisation’s safety framework and support leaders in driving a strong safety-first culture.
Your day-to-day will include:

  • Assisting with hazard identification, incident prevention, and interventions.
  • Supporting leaders, safety reps, and committees to embed safe practices.
  • Conducting audits, inspections, and risk assessments.
  • Providing coaching, guidance, and safety communications to increase awareness.
  • Assisting with safety and wellbeing projects in line with the broader HSE strategy.
This role is ideal for a safety professional looking to broaden their exposure in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while contributing meaningfully in a short-term capacity.

About You
We’re seeking a proactive, energetic individual who thrives in collaborative environments and is eager to continue developing their WHS expertise.
You will bring:
  • Experience working with WHS legislation and standards.
  • Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety (or equivalent).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build relationships across a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Ideally, some exposure to manufacturing or operational environments.
