The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Safety & Training Systems Manager to join our client's team, based in Melbourne or Sydney. This is a pivotal role that combines workplace health & safety leadership with technical training development for a national field service team.
You will be responsible for coordinating national H&S systems, implementing safety frameworks, and ensuring technical competency across field service operations.
   
Key Responsibilities

Lead Safety Excellence- Champion H&S across national operations, drive safety culture, and deliver performance reporting that makes a difference
   
Shape Technical Capability- Design and deliver training programs that elevate skills, ensure compliance, and build competency across the business
   
Drive Operational Systems- Streamline processes, manage technology platforms, and optimise fleet operations for maximum efficiency
   
What We're Looking For

Essential Qualifications:

  • Trade Qualification in Plumbing, Electrical, or Mechanical Services
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
  • Formal qualifications in Workplace Health & Safety
Key Skills & Experience:
  • Proven experience managing business safety processes and culture
  • Strong technical competence with hands on plumbing experience
  • Excellent communication skills across all levels, including training delivery
  • Commercial orientation with customer service focus
  • Experience managing technical and customer facing teams
  • Strong analytical and influencing capabilities
