We’re partnering with a leading Australian agribusiness with operations spanning cropping, livestock, transport and export services. As Safety Operations Manager, you will play a critical role in embedding practical, fit for purpose safety across diverse environments. This is a hands-on operational role, working closely with managers, supervisors and frontline teams to influence culture, build capability and ensure safe work every day.

Key focus areas include:
  • Coaching operational leaders to build safety ownership and confidence
  • Supporting teams with hazard management, safe work practices and controls
  • Facilitating behavioural safety programs and meaningful conversations
  • Leading incident response and structured investigations
  • Delivering onboarding, training and capability uplift
  • Supporting adoption of digital safety systems and continuous improvement
This is not a corporate compliance role, it’s boots on the ground engagement, partnering with people to make safety practical and embedded.

You’ll bring:
  • Certificate IV WHS (minimum) — Diploma desirable
  • 5+ years WHS experience in operational, high-risk or regional settings
  • A practical, collaborative approach with strong site presence
  • Familiarity with safety platforms and digital tools
  • Solid understanding of WHS legislation, risk and leadership engagement
