About the Client

The Safe Step is partnering with a well established organisation operating across a diverse, multi site footprint. The business is continuing to evolve its safety function, with a strong focus on improving compliance, simplifying systems and building capability across sites. This role sits within a corporate safety team and will play a key role in lifting consistency, usability and overall safety performance.

  • Improve consistency in how safety systems and processes are applied across sites

About You

You are a strong technical safety professional who enjoys improving systems, building structure and making safety easier to understand and apply. You bring a practical and coaching based approach, with the ability to influence stakeholders and drive consistency across a multi site environment.

You are comfortable operating across both strategy and execution, and can step into a role where you are improving and refining rather than starting from scratch.

You'll Bring
  • Experience managing and improving safety systems and platforms
  • Strong knowledge of WHS legislation and compliance requirements
  • Experience developing and leading audit and compliance programs
  • Proven ability to coach and influence stakeholders across all levels
  • Strong analytical capability with the ability to turn data into action
  • Experience working in multi site or geographically dispersed environments
  • A pragmatic, solutions focused mindset
Why Join

This is a strong opportunity to take ownership of safety systems and compliance in a business where there is clear appetite for improvement. You will be supported by leadership and given the scope to simplify, refine and uplift how safety is delivered across the organisation.

The role offers a competitive salary package along with hybrid working that provides flexibility while maintaining connection to site and stakeholders. It will suit someone who values both autonomy and visibility.
