About the Client
We are partnering with a well-established organisation in the agribusiness and food sector, with operations spanning multiple sites across Australia. Known for their strong commitment to safety, quality, and people-focused values, they foster a collaborative culture where employees are supported, recognised, and rewarded. Their head office is an engaging and inclusive environment, with approachable leadership who are genuinely invested in the wellbeing of their people.

About the Role
This newly available position has arisen due to a retirement and offers the opportunity to make a real impact at a critical time of year. Based at head office in Adelaide, the Safety Audit Systems Coordinator will play a pivotal role in developing and refining audit frameworks to support high-risk operations across more than multiple sites.
Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and building audit tools from the ground up.
  • Reviewing completed audits to identify gaps and implement corrective measures.
  • Working closely with a network of regional Health & Safety Advisors.
  • Analysing audit data using Excel to provide clear and actionable reporting to senior stakeholders.
  • Supporting the continued embedding of an established Safety Management System.
The role includes some initial travel to regional sites to gain a deep understanding of operations, before becoming largely head-office based. You will also have one direct report, a shared resource who provides part-time support to the Health & Safety function.

Benefits include a discretionary annual bonus, staff rewards program, a social club, and regular employee events. Flexible working arrangements are also available once established in the role.

About You
We are seeking a self-sufficient professional who understands how to build and implement audit systems that genuinely strengthen safety outcomes. You will bring:
  • Strong experience in health & safety auditing within high-risk environments.
  • The confidence to design fit-for-purpose audit frameworks and tools.
  • Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
  • Excellent communication skills to influence, guide, and engage stakeholders across all levels.
  • The ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and thrive during peak operational periods.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a safety professional who is passionate about driving improvements, enjoys both the technical and practical aspects of audit systems, and wants to contribute to a supportive, values-driven culture.
