A large-scale metalliferous mining operation in Regional NSW is seeking experienced Safety & Health Advisors to support site operations across a high-risk, fast-paced environment.
These are highly operational, boots-on-the-ground roles focused on visible field leadership, workforce engagement and practical safety support across mining and processing operations.
This opportunity is ideally suited to professionals who enjoy partnering closely with frontline crews and leaders.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct field leadership activities, inspections and safety interactions
- Support operational leaders and crews across day-to-day HSE matters
- Assist with JHAs, risk assessments and critical control verification
- Support incident investigations and ICAM processes
- Coach and influence frontline teams across active mining operations
- Maintain a strong visible safety presence onsite
To be successful, you will ideally bring:
- Previous mining experience within metalliferous, hard rock or surface operations
- Strong operational and field-based safety capability
- Confidence engaging with frontline workforces and contractors
- Practical, relationship-driven approach to safety leadership
- ICAM investigation experience highly regarded
- Ability to work autonomously within dynamic operational environments
- Initial 6-month contract opportunity
