This role offers a rare mix of operational safety, risk management and governance. One day you might be supporting leaders on site, the next presenting insights, managing assurance activities or driving improvement initiatives across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
• Partner with leaders to improve safety performance and manage risk
• Conduct audits, investigations and workplace inspections
• Manage and enhance safety systems, policies and procedures
• Support incident management, compliance and assurance activities
• Coordinate reporting, governance and continuous improvement initiatives
• Build safety capability and influence positive behaviours across the business
About You
You are a practical safety professional who enjoys being close to operations but can also navigate governance, reporting and stakeholder management requirements.
You know how to build credibility with frontline teams, challenge constructively and help leaders turn good intentions into meaningful outcomes.
You'll Bring
• Experience in a Safety Advisor, WHS Advisor or Specialist position
• Strong knowledge of WHS legislation and risk management principles
• Experience working across operational or high risk environments
• Capability across audits, investigations and compliance activities
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• A proactive, solutions focused approach
