Our client is a leading, ASX-listed restaurant operator with a national footprint and a large, diverse workforce. Based in Hamilton, their Brisbane support office brings together the teams that support restaurant operations across Australia. You’ll join a supportive safety and wellbeing team that takes a practical, people-focused approach to helping injured employees recover and return to work.
The opportunity
Supporting a national portfolio, predominantly across Queensland, you will help coordinate workers’ compensation claims and suitable duties arrangements. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing claim forms and guiding team members through the lodgement process.
- Following up paperwork, answering questions and keeping claims progressing.
- Developing, updating and monitoring suitable duties plans.
- Supporting team members and managers throughout the return to work process.
- Maintaining accurate and confidential records.
About you
You bring experience in return to work or injury management, sound workers’ compensation knowledge and a Queensland Rehabilitation and Return to Work Coordinator qualification.
You are organised, empathetic and comfortable picking up the phone to support people and follow things through. Confidence learning new systems is essential; experience with the business’s specific platform is not required.
