ABOUT THEM
Our client is a well-established consultancy known for delivering practical health and safety support to businesses across Australia and New Zealand. They work closely with small to medium-sized enterprises, helping them navigate health and safety requirements with tailored documentation, audits, and risk assessments. Their focus is on enabling safer, more compliant workplaces through expert advice and hands-on support.

THE ROLE
This is a leadership position where you’ll guide and support a team of consultants across Queensland and Western Australia. Your role will balance people leadership, technical expertise, and strategic contribution. As a mentor and subject matter expert, you’ll play a key role in driving performance, uplifting service quality, and supporting the team with complex client matters. You’ll also collaborate across the national business to identify opportunities for growth and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert health and safety advice across the consultancy team and business
  • Mentor, coach, and develop consultants to build capability and confidence
  • Lead quality assurance efforts and deliver targeted training
  • Analyse trends and support commercial decision-making
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and high engagement
  • Support consultants with client-facing work as needed
  • Lead recruitment and retention of high-performing safety professionals

EXPERIENCE FOR SUCCESS
  • Qualifications in Health and Safety or a related field
  • Strong leadership experience in safety-focused environments
  • A coaching mindset and ability to develop individuals across varied experience levels
  • Background in medium to high-risk industries
  • Confidence working with diverse stakeholders, from frontline consultants to executives
  • Proactive, solutions-focused approach to team development and business improvement
WHAT'S ON OFFER
