Work Type:

Contract

Location:

Sydney - NSW

  • High-impact psychosocial risk leadership role within a large, values-driven orga
  • Sydney CBD location | Felxible, Hybrid Work Arrangement
  • Must have experience with organisation wide psychosocial risk programs
  •
A large, values-driven Australian organisation is entering a critical phase of its psychosocial risk journey and is seeking an experienced Psychosocial Risk Manager to step in and make an immediate, meaningful impact.

This is a rare opportunity to join a high-profile, enterprise-wide program where psychosocial risk management is a top executive priority, supported at the most senior levels of the organisation.

The Opportunity
You will sit within a dedicated Workforce Transition & Operational Sustainability program, working at the intersection of health & safety, people risk, industrial relations and organisational change.
The strategic framework has already been developed by external specialists — your role is to bring it to life.
This is a delivery-focused, hands-on role, centred on implementation, coordination and follow-through rather than design work from scratch.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner closely with faculties, business units and senior stakeholders to drive psychosocial risk actions forward
  • Track, manage and close out actions arising from:
    • Psychosocial audits
    • Risk assessments
    • Consultation processes
    • Incident and issue reporting
  • Support the rollout and embedding of a newly developed psychosocial risk management framework
  • Translate legislative obligations, audit findings and framework requirements into practical, achievable action plans
  • Keep action owners accountable and ensure commitments are delivered
  • Feed insights from focus groups, incidents and emerging risks back into broader program governance
About You
This role will suit someone who is practical, credible and delivery-oriented, with experience working in complex organisations.
You will bring:
  • A strong background in WHS and psychosocial risk management
  • Demonstrated experience implementing psychosocial frameworks (not just designing them)
  • Excellent project management capability — organised, structured and outcomes-focused
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
  • Experience operating in industrially complex or highly consultative environments
  • A calm, confident approach and the ability to keep work moving in sensitive settings
Contract Details
  • Initial 6-month contract
  • Work pattern: 5 days per week
  • Hybrid: Onsite and one day per week WFH
  • Location: Sydney CBD
  • Start: Immediate
