Relocation and Location
The initial assignment will see you based in Tasmania for approximately 12+ months, after which there will be opportunities to transition onto future projects across Australia as this portfolio continues to grow.

Must hold relevant working rights and be located in Australia, and be open to a genuine lifestyle relocation or a fixed-term relocation arrangement.

About the Role
You will play a critical role in influencing safety outcomes across a large, high risk commercial construction environment. This role goes beyond compliance and assurance and is focused on leadership, learning and positive influence across the project lifecycle.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Providing strategic and operational safety leadership across the project
- Embedding contemporary safety systems and practices from project mobilisation through delivery
- Influencing senior leaders, project teams and contractors through strong relationships and credibility
- Supporting a learning focused safety culture that values trust, openness and continuous improvement
- Acting as a key safety advisor to the project leadership team
About You
You are a contemporary safety leader who is comfortable operating in complex commercial construction environments and who brings a modern view of safety to project delivery.
You will be able to demonstrate:
- Proven experience leading safety on large scale, high risk construction or infrastructure projects
- A contemporary and practical approach to safety, focused on influence, learning and leadership
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to build trust quickly
- Confidence working at senior level and challenging constructively when required
