We are partnering with a large national organisation to appoint an experienced Interim HSE National Manager to step into a critical leadership role on a short-term contract.

This assignment has arisen following the recent departure of the incumbent and requires a senior HSE leader who can provide stability, manage day-to-day operations and maintain compliance.

The Role Reporting into a senior executive, you will:
  • Lead and support an established HSE team across QLD and NSW
  • Act as the senior escalation point for health & safety matters
  • Maintain WHS compliance across multiple jurisdictions
  • Oversee incident management, investigations and corrective actions
  • Support ISO audits, governance and reporting
  • Be visible and credible within workshops and operational environments
The initial contract is 3 months, full-time, with a strong likelihood of extension and or permanency. 

Locations & Travel
  • Brisbane-based (Wacol – approx. 30 mins west of the CBD)
  • Occasional travel to Sydney, Newcastle and other operational sites
  • Exposure to workshops, warehousing and manufacturing environments
About You
  • Proven experience operating at Head of HSE / senior HSE leadership level
  • Strong knowledge of Australian WHS legislation and risk management
  • Confident leading teams across multiple sites
  • Pragmatic, hands-on and execution-focused
  • Strong stakeholder engagement capability
