We are partnering with a well known Australian organisation to appoint a Manager, Health & Safety into a newly elevated, business critical role.

The Opportunity
This role will lead health and safety across the business. You will take ownership of lifting health and safety maturity, embedding fit for purpose systems, improving injury management outcomes and professionalising reporting to executive and board level. This is a hands-on, visible role suited to someone who enjoys being close to operations and building capability from the ground up.
  
Key Focus Areas
  • Lead and embed contemporary WHS systems and frameworks
  • Improve health and safety performance, reporting quality and data integrity
  • Uplift injury management and return to work outcomes
  • Partner closely with operational leaders to build ownership and capability
  • Provide clear, confident safety advice at executive and board level
  • Support ongoing plant, equipment and facility upgrades
  • Balance modern health and safety practices in a practical way
About You
This role will suit a health and safety professional who brings:
  • Strong technical capability across WHS, recovery and workers compensation
  • Experience in manufacturing, industrial or high-risk operational environments
  • Confidence operating in low to mid maturity health and safety settings
  • A practical, grounded approach with strong influencing skills
  • The ability to communicate clearly with both frontline teams and senior leaders
  • Comfort working in a regional setting or willingness to relocate
This is not a generalist role – depth, maturity and credibility matter.
