About the Role
As the Injury Management Coordinator, you will support the delivery of the Group’s workers compensation and return-to-work framework across multiple business units. Working closely with leaders, HR and onsite WHS teams, you will provide guidance and case management support to ensure injured employees are supported throughout their recovery and return to work.
You will also play an active role in early intervention, trend identification and process improvement to help build a proactive and positive return-to-work culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate workers compensation claims and support injury management activities across business units.
- Develop, monitor and review individual return-to-work plans to ensure safe and sustainable outcomes.
- Provide advice on injury management processes, early intervention and suitable duties.
- Liaise with insurers, medical practitioners, rehabilitation providers and internal stakeholders.
- Ensure timely and accurate weekly payments, reimbursements and claim administration.
- Support proactive initiatives to reduce injury risk and promote safe work practices.
You are an experienced injury management or return-to-work professional who is comfortable coordinating cases and working with multiple stakeholders. You take a supportive and practical approach, can manage complexity with sensitivity, and enjoy building relationships that help drive positive outcomes.
You will also bring:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in workers compensation, RTW coordination or injury management.
- Strong knowledge of state-based workers compensation legislation and scheme requirements.
- Experience coordinating payments, reimbursements and insurer documentation.
- Qualifications in Injury Management, Return to Work, Rehabilitation or similar (highly regarded).
