About the Role:
As the Injury Management Business Partner, you will:  

  • Develop, implement and oversee injury management strategies that support early, safe return to work and ensure compliance with legislative and organisational requirements.
  • Partner with key stakeholders, internal teams, insurers, rehabilitation providers and health professionals to drive early intervention, injury management and effective claim resolution.
  • Provide training, guidance and support to operational teams on injury management best practices, legislative compliance and return to work processes.
  • Maintain accurate records, contribute to continuous improvement projects, and collaborate with the WHS and Recovery teams to support health, wellbeing and injury response initiatives.
Qualifications and Technical Capabilities:
  • Tertiary qualifications in an OH&S or allied health field (preferred)
  • Return to Work Coordinator Certificate (mandatory)
  • Return to Work Coordinator in other states (preferred)
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in end-to-end claims and injury management, with knowledge of self-insurance and NSW legislation.
  • Strong understanding of self-insurance frameworks, workers compensation and WHS legislation ideally across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement effective rehabilitation plans that align with business goals and improve outcomes.
  • Skilled in interpreting medical information and coming up with strategies to reduce claim duration, costs, and improve return-to-work outcomes.
