About the Organisation
This purpose-led organisation operates within the not-for-profit sector, delivering meaningful impact across communities. With a strong focus on safety, wellbeing, and continuous improvement, they are currently undergoing a transformation within their Health, Safety & Wellbeing function.
As part of this evolution, an opportunity has arisen for a proactive and detail-oriented Coordinator to support the team through a period of growth and system uplift.

About the Role
This is a hands-on coordination and systems-focused role, providing critical support across both BAU safety activities and ongoing improvement initiatives.
Working closely with the Health, Safety & Wellbeing leadership team, you will play a key role in maintaining compliance, supporting Return to Work processes, and contributing to the uplift of safety systems and frameworks.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Supporting Workers Compensation and Return to Work processes
  • Maintaining WHS systems, registers, and records
  • Coordinating incident reporting, investigations, and follow-ups
  • Assisting with risk assessments and safety audits
  • Supporting safety committees and engagement initiatives
  • Contributing to system improvements and continuous uplift of safety capability
This role offers flexibility with a hybrid model (3 days in office), with multiple office locations available depending on your base.

About You
You are someone who enjoys being across the detail, thrives in a support-focused role, and takes pride in keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes.

You will bring:
  • Minimum Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety
  • Strong understanding of WHS legislation and frameworks
  • Exposure to Workers Compensation and Return to Work processes
  • Experience supporting safety systems, reporting, or coordination activities
  • A proactive mindset with strong organisational skills
  • A genuine alignment to purpose-led, values-driven environments
Experience supporting system improvements or working with safety platforms will be highly regarded.
