This is an opportunity for an experienced HSEQ professional who enjoys being out in the field working with operational leaders. Its a varied role with different sites and operational settings together with a diverse risk profile. Your role will be to work with senior operational leaders to drive safety culture and reduce workplace risk and injuries.

The Role
Reporting to the Head of HSEQ you will be responsible for all HSEQ activities across Victoria. Responsibilities will include:

  • Implement state wide HSE programs and initiatives
  • Work with site managers and operational leaders to improve safety practices and reduce risk - this will involve training and coaching
  • Manage the safety management system and ensure timely recording of incidents
  • Manage injuries and RTW programs
  • Quality assurance management ensuring ISO14001 accreditation and a consistent audit program
  • Developing strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders is crucial to success
What we are looking for:
  • Previous experience in developing, implementing and maintaining HSE systems and driving HSE programs
  • Experience of Workers Compensation management
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in development of Return-to-Work plans
  • Strong communicator and ability to build, maintain and develop strong stakeholder and client relationships
  • Relevant HSEQ qualifications
