About the Role
As the HSEQ Advisor – Systems & Audits, you will be focused on maintaining and enhancing HSEQ systems through internal audits, reporting, and supporting strategic improvement initiatives.
This position plays a vital part in upholding the integrity of the company HSEQ management systems, with a strong emphasis on audit delivery, system maintenance, and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Delivering internal audits against business standards and compliance frameworks.
- Partnering with operational sites to drive alignment with HSEQ systems and procedures, and making recommendations where site practices deviate from group standards.
- Producing reports around audit findings, and improvement recommendations.
- Assisting with the bi-annual external audit program and ongoing audit schedule management.
- Coaching stakeholders on HSEQ system use and requirements, and promoting continual improvement.
This role is ideal for a structured and detail-focused HSEQ professional who takes initiative and is confident connecting with site teams across a diverse and dynamic national business.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Qualifications in Occupational Health and Safety (minimum Certificate IV WHS/OHS).
- Lead Auditor qualification in safety, environment, and/or quality (or significant auditing exposure).
- 3+ years’ HSEQ experience in systems and auditing in high-risk industries (utilities, infrastructure, construction or resources).
- Initiative and confidence to recommend improvements where practice deviates from system intent.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- A valid C-class driver's licence and Construction White Card.
- Ability to travel on a rostered 8:6 basis
- ICAM training, mental health first aid, or due diligence audit experience - desirable.

- 8/6 Roster that will see you on the road in a roaming role across sites and assets. National travel but with a heavy focus on WA so a Perth based candidate is required.
- In addition to salary and super - Daily tax free travel allowance of $80 (when away from home base) - approx $16k per year.
