About the Role
We are partnering with a leading electrical and construction services organisation to recruit a Site Safety Advisor on a six-month contract, with potential for permanent placement. This is a hands-on, operationally focused role providing visible safety leadership across a diverse portfolio of projects, including high-rise construction, hospitals, water treatment plants, tunnels, and other infrastructure works.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments, and audits to ensure compliance with WHS legislation, client requirements, and company standards.
  • Lead and deliver toolbox talks, safety briefings, and site training.
  • Support incident response, including investigations, reporting, and implementation of corrective actions.
  • Provide practical, site-based guidance to operational teams, acting as the key safety presence across projects.
  • Collaborate effectively with project managers, site managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to maintain a strong safety culture.

About You:
  • Proven experience in safety roles within construction, electrical, or services environments.
  • Strong understanding of WHS legislation, codes of practice, and practical safety management.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, confident working with operational teams and unions.
  • Mandatory: Recognised safety qualifications, Construction White Card, own transport for site travel.
  • Desirable: ICAM or other incident investigation training, audit qualifications, Training Cert IV.
  • Flexible, proactive, and able to work independently across multiple project sites.
