About the Role
Stepping in to this newly created role, you will set and deliver the HSE strategy across all divisional operations which incorporates three Melbourne based sites. You will provide leadership, governance, systems improvement, and expert advice to ensure a safe, compliant, and high performing workplace:
- Strategy development and delivery
- Critical risk management
- Team leadership
- Coaching and mentoring highly technical/smart and savvy workforce
This is pretty simple:
- It’s about culture fit, and your ability to build relationships, plus:
- Tertiary qualifications in Workplace Health & Safety (or equivalent qualifications).
- Previous experience in an HSE management role within a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated expertise in critical risk management and safety systems improvement.
- See the “big picture” and can translate strategy into practical actions.
- Able to inspire commitment to safety across all levels—from executives to shop-floor operators
