We're partnering with a well-established national manufacturer to secure an experienced HSE Manager to step into a key site leadership role during an initial 3-month contract, with a genuine opportunity for extension or permanency.
Rather than developing strategy from the ground up, you'll inherit a well-established HSE framework and be empowered to drive its execution across a busy manufacturing operation. Working closely with Operations, Engineering and Maintenance, you'll influence leaders, champion continuous improvement and ensure safety remains at the forefront of everything the business does.
This is a highly visible role where your ability to build trust, challenge constructively and create practical safety outcomes will have an immediate and lasting impact.
Why you'll love this opportunity
- Step into a true leadership role where you'll influence operational performance every day. Working alongside a highly collaborative leadership team, you'll coach leaders, participate in daily production meetings, drive accountability for safety performance and play a key role in delivering an already established HSE strategy across a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Join a business that genuinely values practical, visible safety leadership. This isn't a desk-based compliance role. You'll spend your time partnering with frontline teams, supporting engineering and maintenance activities, driving hazard management, improving critical risk controls and helping embed a positive, proactive safety culture across multiple operational areas.
- Enjoy flexibility, stability and future opportunity. Offering an attractive hourly rate, Monday-Friday hours with flexibility around start and finish times, an initial three-month contract and a strong likelihood of extension or permanent appointment, this role provides an excellent opportunity to make an immediate impact while positioning yourself for longer-term career opportunities.
