About the Role

Reporting to the Director, you will lead the safety strategy while staying closely connected to our people on the ground. You’ll oversee ISO accreditation, system improvements, legislative updates, training and staff development—while ensuring that our safety approach remains practical, engaging and trusted by our workforce.

You will support 150 employees and a large number of contractors. The team is is a 50/50 split of what collar and blue collar workers. We are looking for a leader who is visible onsite, can build genuine connections and brings a coaching mindset. You will manage a small HSE Advisor team and partner closely with site managers, forepersons, subcontractors and clients.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Champion a people-first safety culture across varied construction projects
  • Build relationships with internal stakeholders and clients to foster a positive safety culture and relationship
  • Lead ISO accreditation, external audits and continual improvement of safety systems
  • Drive training, coaching and development across all levels of the business
  • Support operational teams with practical guidance and support
  • Provide oversight for occasional night-shift activities (crane lifts, noise/dust monitoring, high-risk works)
About You
You’re a confident communicator who builds trust quickly. You enjoy being part of the team—not just auditing it. You bring construction experience (aviation or large institutional environments ideal) and you know how to work in high-security, safety-critical settings.
