About the Role
Looking for an 8-week holiday cover for the National HSEC Manager. You will manage the day-to-day operational safety across high-risk site activities, overseeing a workforce of approximately 100. With a focus on employee safety, customer satisfaction, and effective RTW management, this role will see you on site 4–5 days per week.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and delivery of the national HSEC strategy.
• Provide trusted advice to Senior Management.
• Ensure compliance with legislation, regulations, and ISO standards.
• Manage scheduled audits, incident reporting, and continuous improvement programs.
• Oversee emergency management, safety, and security systems across sites.
• Manage workers’ compensation and rehabilitation programs.
• Represent the company with clients, regulators, and industry bodies.
• Promote a culture of safety, learning, and accountability.

• Significant experience in senior HSEC leadership roles, ideally in mining or mining explosives.
• Strong background in safety analysis, evaluation, and compliance management.
• Degree or diploma in OHS, education, or science (or equivalent).
• Demonstrated experience across ISO standards (9001, 14001, 45001).
• S1, S2, S3 qualifications highly regarded.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Current driver’s licence.
