Wilson Group is continuing to strengthen its HSE function nationally, with this newly created HSE Advisor role established to support growing operational demands and increasing risk exposure across the Northern Territory.

This is a hands-on operational role partnering closely with frontline leaders and senior operational leaders across diverse and challenging environments including retail, defence, mining, remote guarding services and regional operations.

Working alongside a highly experienced operational leadership team, and as part of a growing national HSE team, this opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys being embedded within operations, building strong relationships on the ground and driving practical safety outcomes.

The Opportunity
  • Coach and support frontline operational leaders
  • Drive safety engagement and operational risk management initiatives
  • Conduct and Support investigations, incident response and corrective actions
  • Deliver toolbox talks and frontline safety communication
  • Review and support development of SOPs and operational procedures
  • Support emergency management and cyclone preparedness activities
  • Manage risks associated with lone workers, driving and remote operations
This is a fast-paced and highly operational environment where no two days look the same.

About You
You are practical, approachable and resilient with a genuine passion for supporting frontline operations.
You will ideally bring:
  • Experience within high-risk operational or field-based environments
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building capability
  • Exposure to investigations, risk assessments and operational safety support
  • Experience in supporting internal and external HSE audits
  • The ability to coach and positively influence leaders
  • A calm, adaptable and hands-on approach
Experience within security, mining, transport, remote operations or similar operational environments will be highly regarded.
