The Safe Step is partnering with a leading civil contractor to recruit an experienced HSE Advisor for a major infrastructure project in the Snowy Mountains.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-performing project team delivering complex civil construction works on one of Australia's largest infrastructure projects. Initially offered for 2–3 swings, there is strong potential for ongoing work.

- Provide practical HSE support across site operations
- Coach and influence frontline leaders and supervisors
- Conduct site inspections and safety observations
- Lead incident reporting and investigations
- Facilitate toolbox talks and safety engagement activities
- Monitor compliance with WHS legislation and project requirements
- Promote a positive, proactive safety culture
- Previous experience as an HSE Advisor within civil construction or major infrastructure
- Strong understanding of high-risk construction activities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Confident working in a fast-paced project environment
- Ability to work a 2/1 FIFO roster
- Experience on tunnelling or major infrastructure projects highly regarded
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including a silica chest X-ray
- National Police Check
- Relevant WHS qualifications
- Australian working rights
