About Them
We are partnering with a well-established workplace consultancy to recruit a Health and Safety Advisor to join their Sydney-based team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their WHS career who is ready to take the next step into a specialist role with a focus on technical content, documentation, and practical application.

About the Role
This role sits within a collaborative team that supports both internal colleagues and external clients. You’ll help develop high-quality WHS documentation, translate legislation into user-friendly resources, and play a part in shaping the safety content that supports organisations across Australia and New Zealand.
Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with the creation and updating of WHS policies, manuals, and procedures
  • Supporting the review of legislation and its practical application
  • Responding to WHS queries and providing accurate, well-communicated advice
  • Helping to develop training and communication materials
  • Contributing to audits and safety system reviews as needed
  • Presenting technical information in a clear, easy-to-understand format
About You
You’re an emerging WHS professional with a strong foundation and a desire to grow. You’re detail-oriented, enjoy writing, and have a knack for making complex information easy to understand. You’re collaborative, proactive, and keen to build a long-term career in health and safety.
To be considered, you’ll have:
  •  A Bachelor’s degree in Work Health & Safety (or related discipline), no prior WHS experience required, or
  • A Diploma or Cert IV in WHS plus 2–3 years’ experience in a WHS administration, coordination, or support role.
  • Strong written communication skills and attention to detail
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach and a willingness to learn
  • Up-to-date knowledge of WHS legislation (or the ability to quickly build this)
