At the heart of this mission is the Health, Safety & Wellbeing (HSW) team, responsible for workplace safety, biosafety, injury management, wellbeing and compliance. They are seeking a dynamic Health, Safety & Wellbeing Manager to lead this vital function.

About the Role
This role offers the opportunity to shape and deliver safety strategies, lead a capable and engaged team and work with committed stakeholders across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Champion a positive safety culture through visible leadership and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee the Safety Management System and compliance across WHS, biosafety, wellbeing and injury management.
  • Partner with senior leaders to embed safe, sustainable practices across diverse work environments.
  • Lead, mentor and develop a team of three HSW specialists.
  • Provide reports and insights to the Board of Directors on HSW performance and strategy.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements including dangerous goods, transport and licensing.
  • Drive wellbeing initiatives, including psychosocial risk management programs.
About You
You are a hands on leader with a collaborative style, strong technical expertise and a passion for fostering a safe, healthy workplace.

Experience and Skills
  • Expertise in workers' compensation, injury and claims management.
  • Proven success in implementing and maintaining Safety Management Systems.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to coach and inspire teams.
  • Knowledge of psychosocial and manual handling risks across diverse work environments.
  • Strategic thinker with strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
  • Exceptional communication and business partnering abilities.
