About the Client

Our client is a well established supply chain and logistics provider operating across Australia and New Zealand. With a significant 24/7 footprint spanning transport, warehousing and distribution, the organisation partners with major customers and is known for its commitment to care, quality and operational delivery.

The ANZ network includes multiple distribution centres, linehaul and last mile operations, with a workforce of several hundred across metropolitan and regional locations.
  
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and deliver the ANZ health, safety and wellbeing strategy, operating plan and key initiatives
  • Strengthen and evolve the safety management system, including governance, assurance, consultation and reporting
  • Drive critical risk control effectiveness across higher risk operational environments
  • Oversee incident investigations, ensuring quality, consistency and meaningful organisational learning  
  • Provide clear, actionable reporting and insights to senior leaders and governance forums
  • Oversee workers compensation and return to work programs across ANZ
  • Build capability through coaching, mentoring and consistent on site engagement
About You

You are a practical and credible leader who knows how to translate strategy into practical action. You bring a balanced approach, combining technical capability with the ability to engage, influence and build trust across a diverse, operational workforce.

This role will suit an experienced manager or a high performing senior advisor ready to step into a broader ANZ leadership position.
  
You Will Bring
  • Experience in health, safety and wellbeing within multi site environments such as transport, logistics, warehousing or manufacturing
  • Strong understanding of Australian and New Zealand WHS legislation and its practical application
  • Exposure to wellbeing, mental health and psychosocial risk initiatives
  • Demonstrated ability to coach and develop others
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence at all levels
  • Relevant WHS/OHS qualifications
  • A willingness to be visible and present across sites, depots and operations
