Our client is a leading supply chain solutions provider across Australia and New Zealand. Operating 24/7 with a substantial transport, warehousing and distribution footprint, the organisation has long standing partnerships and a strong reputation for care, quality and operational excellence. The ANZ network includes multiple distribution centres, linehaul and last mile operations, employing several hundred people across all major capital cities.
Key Responsibilities:-
- Own and deliver the ANZ health, safety and wellbeing strategy, operating plan and key projects
- Strengthen the health, safety and wellbeing management system including policies, procedures, governance, consultation, reporting and assurance
- Lead critical risk control assurance, ensuring controls are effective across higher risk operational environments
- Oversee high quality incident investigations, corrective actions and organisational learning
- Lift wellbeing and psychosocial risk maturity with practical, usable tools for leaders and teams
- Provide clear, decision useful health, safety and wellbeing reporting to senior leaders and governance forums
- Oversee workers compensation and return to work programs across ANZ
- Build capability through coaching, development and regular presence across sites
You are a practical, credibility first safety leader who understands how to make systems work in operational environments. You combine strong technical depth with the ability to influence, simplify and partner with leaders, teams and drivers across a complex, moving network.
You’ll Bring:-
- Proven experience leading health, safety and wellbeing across multi site environments such as logistics, transport, warehousing or manufacturing
- Working knowledge of Australian and New Zealand WHS regulatory requirements and how to translate them into practical controls
- Experience shaping wellbeing, mental health and psychosocial risk programs
- Demonstrated team leadership including development and coaching
- Strong ability to influence leaders and frontline teams with clear, practical guidance
- Relevant OHS/ WHS qualification
- Willingness to be regularly present in distribution centres, depots and on the road
