About the Role
As the Health, Safety & Wellbeing Business Partner, you’ll play a key role in managing day-to-day workers’ compensation claims, return-to-work programs, and supporting the compliance, systems, and processes that ensure a safe and healthy workplace. You’ll use incident and hazard data to identify trends, recommend improvements, and measure the success of initiatives aimed at enhancing safety outcomes and overall wellbeing.

Based in Melbourne’s South East, this role offers hybrid working flexibility, with regular onsite presence to stay closely connected to both people and operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • End-to-end case management of workers’ compensation claims
  • Development and coordination of return-to-work programs
  • Support and improve health, safety and wellbeing systems, processes, and compliance
  • Analyse incident and hazard data to inform education and continuous improvement strategies
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders across the business to promote a strong safety culture

You’re a practical, hands-on professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about making a difference. You bring a solid foundation in workers' compensation and injury management, and you're known for your approachable and solutions-focused mindset.

What you'll bring
  • Demonstrated experience in workers’ compensation and injury management
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and take initiative to get the job done
  • Previous experience in healthcare, veterinary, or medical-related industries (highly regarded)
  • A genuine interest in creating safer, healthier workplaces
