About Them
Our client— Australasia’s largest healthcare and animal care distributor, is looking for an energetic WHS Advisor to be the face of safety at their Smeaton Grange warehouse. You’ll be on the floor, in the operation, building relationships, shaping culture and helping a growing site continue to lift the bar.

About The Role
You’ll be supported day-to-day by a highly experienced ANZ Safety Manager and plugged into a national team of 14+ specialists who will help you grow, stretch and build your safety career.
The perfect role for someone early in their WHS journey who wants real responsibility, real visibility, and real support.

Why You’ll Love This Role
  • Be the key safety lead for a high-energy warehouse with plenty of opportunity to influence and improve.
  • Join a large, national safety team who will coach, guide and back you every step of the way.
  • Hands-on, front-line exposure to operations — you’ll see everything, learn fast and grow even faster.
  • A site that’s lifting and evolving — new traffic management, improving systems, strong leadership support, and appetite for change.
  • Real impact, not just paperwork — you’ll build trust, shape behaviour and help drive a culture where safety is everyone’s responsibility.
Reporting to the ANZ Logistics Manager, with strong daily support from the National HSW Manager, you’ll lead all safety, wellbeing and RTW activity on site.

Every day will be different, but you’ll be hands-on across:
  • On-the-Floor Engagement:  Building relationships with a wide range of personalities and coaching, educating and influencing behavioural safety
  • Safety Systems & Documentation:  Uplifting SOPs, SWIs and training programs & maintaining WHS systems (Mango)
  • Supporting audits, inspections and WHS governance & monitoring and reporting site safety metrics
  • Risk & Incident Management:  Undertaking risk assessments & completing investigations (ICAM highly regarded)
  • Working with stakeholders to implement practical controls
  • Injury Management & RTW:  Working closely with the Group RTW team to manage cases and support safe recovery.
This is a role where you’ll learn the entire safety cycle end-to-end — with strong mentors, a supportive site leader, and a national team helping you succeed.

What We’re Looking For
We’re open on background — we care more about your attitude, people skills and willingness to grow.

Ideally, you will bring:
  • Cert IV in WHS (minimum)
  • Experience in warehousing, logistics or manufacturing
  • Strong communication skills and the confidence to engage on the floor
  • Ability to think on your feet, be proactive and stay solutions-focused
  • A genuine desire to educate, support and uplift people
  • Solid understanding of WHS fundamentals, risk and compliance frameworks
Bonus points for:
  • ICAM training, traffic management experience, COR exposure
  • Working knowledge of WHS systems such as Mango
  • Experience coaching or mentoring workers and contractors
About You
You’ll thrive in this role if you’re:
  • Outgoing, energetic and approachable
  • Naturally curious and eager to learn
  • Good with paperwork but happiest when you’re out in the warehouse
  • Not afraid to speak up, challenge thinking and bring ideas forward
  • Someone who wants to build a long-term WHS career within a large national organisation
This role will suit someone who is early–mid career, looking to take the next step into a visible, high-impact, standalone role with massive growth potential.

What's in it for you
  • Opportunity to work within one of the most diversified and established organisations in ANZ
  • National safety team exposure and development support
  • Strong, people-focused culture across the business
  • Genuine career pathways across the Group
  • A company that lives its values and puts people first
