About the Role
This newly created Health and Safety Business Partner role has been established to strengthen regional safety support across NSW Central and the North Coast. Working closely with leaders and operational teams, you will drive both strategic and practical safety initiatives across multiple sites.

You will be part of an established and supportive national health and safety team. In this role, you will take ownership of the NSW Central and North Coast remit, partnering with the business to embed strong safety practices and support continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with senior leaders to provide practical advice, guidance and support on all health and safety matters
  • Lead, coach and uplift health and safety capability across the region
  • Monitor and review health and safety policies, systems and practices to support continuous improvement
  • Lead and support incident investigations and ensure learnings are embedded
  • Identify operational risks and develop proactive mitigation strategies
  • Support the identification and delivery of health and safety training requirements
  • Conduct internal audits and support ongoing regulatory compliance
About You
  • Tertiary qualification in Occupational Health and Safety or a related discipline desirable
  • Lead Auditor qualification highly desirable
  • Proven experience developing and implementing risk management frameworks, tools and processes
  • Experience supporting multiple sites and leading internal audits
  • Strong working knowledge of WHS legislation and compliance requirements
  • Able to influence, coach and build health and safety capability at all levels
  • Confident communicator who can work autonomously while contributing to a national safety team
