About the Role
This is a newly created Health and Safety Business Partner role, designed to strengthen regional safety support across NSW Central and the North Coast. Working closely with leaders and operational teams, you will play a key role in delivering strategic and practical health and safety initiatives across multiple sites.

Joining an established and supportive national health and safety team, you will take ownership of the NSW Central and North Coast geographical remit, partnering with the business to embed strong health and safety practices and drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with senior leaders to provide practical advice, guidance and support on all health and health and safety matters
  • Lead, coach and uplift health and safety capability across the NSW Central and North Coast region
  • Monitor and review health and safety policies, systems and practices to support continuous improvement
  • Lead and support incident investigations, ensuring learnings are identified and embedded
  • Identify operational risks and develop proactive mitigation strategies
  • Support the identification and delivery of health and safety training requirements
  • Conduct internal audits and support ongoing regulatory compliance
About You
  • Tertiary qualification in Occupational Health & Safety (or a related discipline) desirable
  • Lead Auditor qualification highly desirable
  • Proven experience developing and implementing risk management frameworks, tools and processes
  • Experience supporting multiple sites and leading internal audits
  • Strong working knowledge of WHS legislation and compliance requirements
  • Able to influence, coach and build health and safety capability at all levels
  • Confident communicator who can work autonomously while contributing to a national safety team
