About the Client

As part of a well regarded national health and safety team, this role will partner closely with operational leaders across the Sydney metropolitan region, providing practical advice, coaching and support to improve safety performance and build capability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with business leaders and operational teams to embed safe work practices and strengthen safety accountability
  • Provide practical guidance on risk management, hazard identification and control effectiveness
  • Support incident investigations, corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Conduct audits, inspections and assurance activities across your portfolio
  • Monitor compliance with WHS legislation, internal standards and safety management systems
  • Contribute to health and safety projects, improvement initiatives and system enhancements
  • Coach and support leaders to improve safety capability and ownership
  • Build strong relationships across operational and corporate stakeholder groups
About You

You are a collaborative and commercially minded health and safety professional who enjoys building relationships and influencing outcomes. Comfortable working across multiple sites and stakeholder groups, you bring a practical approach to safety and a genuine passion for supporting leaders to create safer workplaces.

You'll Bring
  • Experience in a Health & Safety Business Partner, Advisor or similar operational safety role
  • Strong knowledge of WHS legislation, risk management and incident investigation
  • Experience conducting audits, inspections and assurance activities
  • The ability to coach, influence and support leaders at all levels
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills
  • Experience working within multi site, operationally focused environments
  • Exposure to safety management systems and continuous improvement programs
  • Relevant health and safety qualifications and a current driver's licence
