About the Role:
As the Health and Safety Business Partner, you will play a vital role in collaborating with leaders to deliver strategic Health and Safety initiatives to multiple sites across Sydney. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring Health and Safety practices are consistently upheld across all the operational teams. 

This new role is to support the established team and take on the geographical remit of Sydney:-
  
Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with senior leadership to provide expert advice, guidance, and support on all health and safety matters.
  • Lead, coach and uplift safety capability across the NSW Metro and NZ region.
  • Monitor and review safety policies, systems and practices to drive continuous improvement.
  • Lead and support incident investigations and ensure learnings are embedded.
  • Identify risks and develop proactive mitigation strategies.
  • Support the identification and delivery of safety training requirements.
  • Conduct internal audits and support regulatory compliance.
About You
  • Tertiary qualification in Occupational Health & Safety (or related discipline) desirable.
  • Lead Auditor qualification highly desirable.
  • Proven experience developing and implementing risk management frameworks, tools, and processes.
  • Experience managing multiple sites and leading internal audits.
  • Strong knowledge of WHS legislation and compliance requirements.
  • Able to influence, coach, and build capability at all levels of the organisation.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to work autonomously while being part of a national safety team.
