Based in Melbourne's CBD, this is a 12-month fixed-term opportunity to join a dedicated Health, Safety and Wellbeing team during an exciting and busy period.
About the Role
As the Health, Safety and Wellbeing Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the Health & Safety function. This is a varied position suited to someone who enjoys being organised, proactive, and providing high-quality administrative support.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing and triaging communications through the Health & Safety inbox
- Coordinating incident and hazard reporting activities
- Supporting the administration of the OHS Committee, including meetings, actions, and follow-up activities
- Maintaining safety communications and noticeboards
- Providing administrative support to the wider Health & Safety team
- Coordinating rostering activities across the team
- Maintaining monthly and quarterly reporting, tracking, and dashboards using Excel and PowerPoint
- Supporting health and safety activities associated with major organisational projects and operational events
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring previous experience in a Health and Safety, WHS or OHS positions.
You will also have:
- A Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety (completed or currently underway)
- Strong administrative and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to roll up your sleeves and support the team wherever needed
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
