About the Role
As a Health and Safety Advisor, you will sit within a specialist team that develops the safety materials used by internal teams and clients nationally. Your work will directly contribute to safer workplaces by creating clear, compliant, and engaging documentation that people can easily understand and apply.
You will collaborate with subject matter experts, support capability building across the business, and occasionally contribute to seminars, webinars, and training initiatives. No two days will look the same, and you will have the chance to take ownership of meaningful, high profile content.
Key responsibilities include:
- Creating and updating workplace health and safety policies, manuals, procedures, and supporting documents
- Reviewing legislation and providing practical, actionable guidance
- Responding to complex internal queries and offering expert technical advice
- Contributing to training and communication content, including presentations and workshops
- Supporting audits and inspections of safety systems where required
- Presenting technical information in a clear, engaging, and client friendly way
- Certificate IV in WHS minimum, Diploma preferred
- At least three years workplace health and safety experience
- Strong written communication and technical writing ability
- Confident engaging with internal stakeholders
- Current understanding of Australian WHS legislation
- Proactive, detail focused, and solutions oriented
