We’re partnering with a leading workplace consultancy to recruit a Health & Safety Content Specialist. This is an opportunity to step into a unique role that blends WHS advisory knowledge with content creation, research, and communication — making safety simple and practical for thousands of businesses across Australia and New Zealand.

About the Role
Sitting within a specialist content function, you’ll develop, review, and adapt WHS materials that support both internal teams and external clients. From policies and procedures to safety alerts, fact sheets, and training resources — you’ll help ensure information is clear, accurate, and easy to apply.
You’ll also:

  • Monitor WHS news, regulator updates, and case law to keep content current.
  • Research and summarise legislation, regulator guidance, and industry information.
  • Draft, edit, and refine WHS documentation tailored for different audiences.
  • Support internal teams with technical WHS queries and guidance.
  • Contribute to webinars, e-learning resources, newsletters, and safety communications.
About You
We’re seeking someone who combines solid WHS knowledge with strong writing and research skills. This role is well suited to a:
  • WHS Coordinator / Advisor looking to pivot into a content and research-focused role, or
  • Legal / compliance professional with exposure to WHS and a talent for plain-English communication.
To be successful, you’ll bring:
  • WHS knowledge – sound grounding in WHS legislation, Codes of Practice, and practical advisory experience.
  • Content development skills – ability to write and adapt procedures, guidelines, safety alerts, and training resources.
  • Research & support capability – skilled in using regulator sites (SafeWork NSW, Safe Work Australia, Comcare) to track updates and summarise findings.
  • Communication strengths – excellent writing, editing, and organisation skills with high attention to detail.
Qualifications
  • Cert IV or Diploma in WHS (essential).
  • Bachelor’s degree in WHS or related disci pline (desirable).
