The Opportunity
We are partnering with a highly regarded national WHS consultancy to recruit a Health & Safety Specialist to join their Sydney-based advisory team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone ready to step up from a Coordinator or Advisor role into a more senior position, where you will combine technical WHS expertise, coaching, and client advisory work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

About the Role
Working as part of a busy and highly capable Advice team, you will act as a key technical resource and escalation point, while also supporting the development of junior team members.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Providing practical WHS advice to clients via phone and email
  • Acting as an escalation point for complex or sensitive matters
  • Coaching, mentoring, and supporting Advisors and Coordinators
  • Reviewing and developing WHS documentation, policies, and risk tools
  • Contributing to training, knowledge resources, and internal capability building
  • Supporting the Advice Manager and stepping into leadership responsibilities as needed
This is a full-time, office-based role in Sydney CBD, within a collaborative and high-energy team environment.

About You
You are a confident WHS professional who enjoys helping others, solving problems, and working in a fast-moving environment.
You bring strong technical knowledge, but also the ability to communicate clearly, build trust, and support those around you.
To be successful, you will have:
  • 3+ years’ experience in WHS advisory, coordination, or similar role
  • Cert IV in WHS (Diploma or higher highly regarded)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong stakeholder and client engagement ability
  • A calm, solutions-focused approach under pressure
  • A positive, team-first mindset with a desire to keep learning and growing
